Glow Worm Lovin’

Little one got a glow worm from her gram as an early christmas present… and well, all she wants to do is smoochy smooch it. It’s adorable.

TEETHING!

AHH. So, little one is teething and somehow her cheeks have these bright red spots on them now, is this normal???? Does this happen when a baby is teething? I tried calling her ped but the nurse was clueless. Anyway. I can’t get rid of these spots. HMM.

First off, I have a new, easy to view, blog look. It shows the recent post and the previous posts are archived at the bottom, and in the sidebar. :)

I laid little one down in her crib, she fell asleep. An hour later, I could hear her playing with the toy that hangs on the side of her crib. She didn’t make a peep, so I peaked on her and she was quietly playing. A few minutes later, she was sound asleep again with toy in hand. She has finally gotten the sleep routine down. Last night, 9pm to 3am. Woke up to eat a little bit and then slept until 6:30am. I can almost guarantee her 10am-12pm nap everyday and a 2p-3p nap as well. Right now it’s 5:40pm and she has been napping for an hour. The more naps she takes, the better she sleeps at night.

Speaking of napping, we went out of town for a family vacation for Thanksgiving. It was a 4 hour drive. She slept the whole ride there and back.. with a few minutes here and there to play with mommy and eat some yummy applesauce.

Things are so much easier now. I never thought this day would come. Let’s see what else. She can sit up by herself now. She rolls over and over again. She stands really well and even tries to take a few steps. Here are a few pictures from the drive.

Mommy Wow

She’s a big kid now. Little one has now started on sweet potatoes and she loves them!!! Just like her dad. She gobbled them up. She did wonderful with the squash, no reactions at all besides saying “mmm”. She makes the “mmm” noise every time I feed her. It’s adorable. She is also sleeping so well in her crib. 8 hours the other night! Last night, it was a little hectic because she now has a little bit of a cold that I had. Thankfully it only lasted a few days for me, and so far, it’s mellowing out for her. A little sneeze and runny nose here and there. She is currently napping so I am going to go do the same.

Cupcakes Galore

I’ve created a blog called All Things Cupcake. It’s about.. you guessed it.. all things cupcake. Cupcake tattoos, cupcake baby clothes, cupcake ipod covers, cupcake plates.. and so much more. If you love cupcakes as much as I do, then you might enjoy this. :)

Spam

I’ve never liked spam. Not in the form of meat or in the form of junk! What the heck is up with wordpress and their spamming? I receive at least 35 comments a day, that are spam! I will not even mention what words the comments contain. *Shudder* In the midst of my sneezing (I have a cold), I have been deleting them.. Ugh..

Mama’s Got A Cold

I am in the midst of the cold. I am not taking anything since I am still Bf’ing so I am relying on lemons, honey, tea, vitamin c drops and some good soup. I am starting to feel a little better.

In other news,  Little one LOVES squash. Since she is reaching her 6 month mark, I started her on her first foods.. A little bit once a day. We started with the yellows, carrots & squash. I will be giving her squash for a few days and then start carrots. She eats it up!

She rolls over on her tummy. She rolls over on her back. Repeat X 5.

That is something you will catch little one doing on any given day. Right now however, she is fussing up a storm.

Little Stinker

I have to admit, this past week has been ROUGH with the little one. We have been sleep training her and every night I want to give up. I have been weaning her of night feedings, and she would still wake up every 2-3 hours. It got really frustrating. See, we follow a simple bedtime routine..  she eats cereal around 6pm, I give her a bath about 7pm, Her daddy comes home at 8pm, They say hello, I nurse her a little more, and lay her in her bed. In the beginning, she started fussing for 10 minutes, then it slowly dropped down to 5 minutes, and tonight.. well, she didn’t even fuss. I walked in the room, thinking she was asleep, only to catch her doing this (she didn’t even know I was in there):
