Two Months Later!

Things have changed in the past two months!! Little one is CRAWLING more than ever. She loves standing up while holding on to things and she walks around her playpen while holding on to the sides. I am so proud of her. She loves her sippy cups and LOVES bananas. Just like her mama. I bet she can’t wait to have papa’s banana pancakes when she gets bigger. :)

Scoot Scoot

Little one would much rather scoot than crawl these days. She’d rather take the easy road. I have heard of babies walking instead of crawling.. this could very well be the case. She walks when you hold her hands.. it’s so very cute.

Mommy Wow, I’m a big kid now.

Little one is growing so fast, I can hardly believe my eyes. She’s started saying dada now. Finally. I was starting to feel bad for him for a second. :) She’s also crawling.. but it’s not her favorite thing. She’d rather scoot on her back. Ah, time is flying by.

My hubby and little girl sure got a sense of humor, don’t they?

Tired

A survey of parents found that fewer than one in six 6-month-olds regularly sleeps through the night, and some wake as many as eight times nightly.

If I had participated in the survey last night, I would have agreed with the latter part of that sentence.

Peek-A-Boo

Little one started something new when she is in her crib. She peaks over the crib bumper to see what’s going on outside the world and it’s absolutely silly. She pulls the bumper down and giggles so loud. We were lucky to actually catch it on video. It might be a little hard to see in some parts but it’s cute.

Teething Much?

Wait A Minute

I just got 7 hours of sleep.. woke up to feed her and now she is sleeping again. Does it take a ranting post to make things normal?! I should do that more often! Ha ha.

K.. back to bed.

No Seepy, No Nappy

We were doing so great! She was sleeping through the night without a problem. I could guarantee a good nights sleep from 11pm – 6am, sometimes 7am. As of two days ago, this all changed. She now wakes up at 2am and then 5 am. She is teething and has also been running a small fever of 100.1. I just gave her a little bit of tylenol and hopefully that helps her temp. I don’t really know what to do when she is so tired yet SO fussy. I sometimes just lay her in her crib and she fusses for a bit but then she goes to sleep. I hate doing this, but I don’t know any other options. When I hold her, she tries to jump out of my lap. I try her walker, her swing, and nothing satisfies her.

Right now, she is cuddling with her glow worm and she is dozing off. Ah, the joys of teething I suppose.

As far as eating goes, SHE LOVES EVERYTHING. How can my child love prunes? She also loves peas, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, apple sauce, bananas, pears.. but really, PRUNES? She gobbles them up. I don’t get it.

For a more personal note, I just launched the website allthingscupcake.com! I am so very excited. All things cupcake has also been recently accepted into the Martha Stewart Network. I am excited about where this thing is going.

Cozy Wittle Bear

Mama!

Little one is saying mama. Although she doesn’t quite understand what she’s saying.. she sits in her walker, or pretty much wherever she is at and just blurbs out “mama. mama. mama.” It’s adorable and I always respond with? Yes honey, this is mama.

Yesterday she said dada as well. She hasn’t said it as much but she’s trying. I got her saying mama on video.. I’ll have to post it later.
